Truman Show + Matrix = Adjustment Bureau
The post title literally sums it up better than anything else I could possibly say.

The post title says it all. April 23, 2010. I could’ve thought of a million other movies that should’ve gotten made before this (A MacGyver movie maybe?!?!?). However, this trailer made me laugh even when I tried not to.
Shouts to Billy and OhWrd for getting me back in the game.
Lesson of the day: “I’m more of a three wire kind of guy.” Will Forte’s Agent > Richard Dean Anderson’s agent
April 16, 2010 I will be in a theatre somewhere in America watching the premier of this movie and enjoying every second of it. It’s called Kick-Ass and it’s based on a comic about a kid who up and decides that he wants to become a super hero. So he does…
Lesson of the day: McLovin (Chris Mintz-Plasse) as Red Mist ftw.
Here is the new trailer for Nancy Meyer’s romantic adult comedy, It’s Complicated. If you haven’t heard about it already it’s starring Meryl Streep, and recently announced Oscar co-hosts Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. It may not clean up at the box office, but this will definitely be a great date movie on Christmas Day (I’m sure I’ll be there with a certain someone…no, not Rachel Bilson, I dropped her). Enjoy:
Lesson of the day: Hopefully they don’t overkill the “rivalry” angle at the Oscars. Also, is anyone else bothered by a movie that shares a title with a Facebook status?
Disclaimer: No inuendos intended with the post title.
Matt Damon is a bit less Bourne in his new film while Angelina Jolie on the other hand has a very Bourne-esque feel to her here. July 23rd, 2010. Do it.
Lesson of the day #2: Angelina is ferocious no matter how skinny she is or how awful her jump punch looks.
You can make all the Bourne comparisons you want, but that doesn’t in any way take away from how sick this looks. Personally, I’m going to say that the best comparison I’ve heard is the fact that it looks like Call of Duty 4. Matt Damon won’t typecast himself with this because we all know he can still do drama and comedy (see: Informant). I really wanted to hate on Matt Damon for a long time, but he’s winning me over slowly but surely. March 12th, 2010 this hits theatres. Enjoy.
Lesson of the day: Rounders 2 is currently being pitched to studios. Yeah buddy.
Robert Downey Jr. is untouchable right now. Look at this man go. There should be a comeback actor of the decade Oscar. Enjoy this new full trailer for Sherlock Holmes.
Lesson of the day: This moving is going to clean up when it drops on Christmas Day.
Enjoy this. It makes me happy. No Simple Jack.
Lesson of the day: This inspired me to get back to my blog. I’m buying 7 tickets to see this. Who’s coming with me?
As awful as I think this movie will be, I know it is going to do numbers on February 19th.
Lesson of the day: T.I. playing himself. Funny that Grand Hustle is the production company on this one.

This movie is going to be so badass it’s not even funny. Actually, it might be kind of funny too if you listen to lines in this trailer. As far as well written, “blaxploitation”, action/comedy films go this is a first if I’m not mistaken (The Last Dragon didn’t really have comedic aspects). In any event, we all know that Michael Jai White is the black Jason Stathan, but I had no idea he could deliver the lines as well as he did in this trailer. Enjoy this theatrical trailer and here is my previous post with the red band trailer (scroll down past The Tournament trailer) if you’d like to get a full feel for what’s in store. Limited US release on October 16th.
Lesson of the day: I am smiling.
