<p>Ok, I&#8217;ll be the first to admit that I am partially biased because my good friend, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/erronjay?ref=ts" target="_blank">Erron Jay</a>, is in this commercial but is CBS serious? For starters they&#8217;re airing Tim Tebow&#8217;s abortion commercial. And then to add a bit of fuel to this fire they&#8217;re also planning to air a commercial for a gay dating site. Now, don&#8217;t get me wrong, I have nothing against either of these ads. I&#8217;m just confused on how Go Daddy ended up being the commercial that CBS though would offend the most viewers. However, banned press has always been good press in my book and I expect this to garner more views for Go Daddy than they would&#8217;ve gotten if this spot aired on Super Sunday. They probably have an inside man helping them get their commercials banned so they can save the money on air-time just like <a href="http://iwyk.wordpress.com/2009/01/29/peta-gets-banned-from-the-superbowl/" target="_blank">PETA</a>&#8230;oh you didn&#8217;t know?</p>
<p>See <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">Erron</span> Lola&#8217;s commercial here:<br />
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="560" height="340" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rHZgRjVD2AM&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="340" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rHZgRjVD2AM&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p><strong>Lesson of the day (revisited from Superbowl &#8216;09):</strong> Getting your commercial banned is good publicity. Viral videos are better than Superbowl commercials and they cost less to air. (posted exactly a year apart&#8230;coincidence?)</p>
