Lesson of the day: Remember when Spike did music videos???
This featurette for Spike Jonze’s adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic, Where the Wild Things Are was show at Comic-Con on friday. Not only does it look great, but I’m really enjoying the mutual respect between Sendak and Jonze and the fact that Sendak’s analysis of the old school feel seems to be dead on. I can not wait to see this and all of the fanfare and promos that will come with the release. I feel like a little kid reading the book again for the first time and you will too.
Lesson of the day: The kid who will be Max is named Max Records.
