Ving Rhames in an indie assassin flick. I’m kind of hoping this one gets picked up for US distribution though. It’ll add to my excitement over…

Lesson of the day: In the words of Dave Chappelle, “black actors.”
I completely agree with the fellas at FirstShowing.net on this one. I was starting to get annoyed with the idea of Michael Cera always playing the exact same character even with the clever little viral piece I covered in May. However, the Francois Dillinger character in this movie looks phenomenal and I’m legitimately excited to see him pull this off. I’ll definitely be in the theatres when this drops on 10/30. Enjoy:
Ok so it’s no secret that I enjoy being up on the new film drops and trailers and such and pride myself on being at the forefront of cinema when it comes to urban blogging (you can quote me on that). That being said, this looks funny, informative, and insightful and that is everything we have come to know and love from a Michael Moore documentary. Look for this in theaters on September, 23rd and look for Republicans and other “patriots” to be butt hurt until the recession lets up some more and they can afford an assassination.
This is a snippet from an unreleased track that Michael sampled from the band America. The original track is called “A Horse With No Name” and it’s not bad, but this 25 seconds overshadows their 1971 hit. The band has expressed their honor and hope along with the rest of us to hear the whole song.

Lesson of the day: I’m sure there’s more where this came from and I can’t wait to hear it.
Here is the trailer for Michael Moore’s upcoming documentary Wall Street, giving us that classic Michael Moore spin the current economic situation and the bank bailouts. It’s pretty clever, especially if you were sitting in one of the select theatres where ushers actually walked down the aisles with offering trays. It’s a political doc as always so it’ll have friends and enemies, but all things considered I think it’ll be worth the watch no matter what side of the situation you’re on.
Lesson of the day: It’s better to give than to recieve.
