The post title says it all. April 23, 2010. I could’ve thought of a million other movies that should’ve gotten made before this (A MacGyver movie maybe?!?!?). However, this trailer made me laugh even when I tried not to.

I’m excited, but I must admit that Father Time has not been good to Sean Patrick Flanery. It still looks relatively badass though and this is the rare type of movie that could actually be a straight to DVD hit. It’s suppose to release on November 1st (All Saint’s Day in the Catholic Church) so we’ll have to wait and see exactly what “release” means. Enjoy:

Ok so it’s no secret that I enjoy being up on the new film drops and trailers and such and pride myself on being at the forefront of cinema when it comes to urban blogging (you can quote me on that). That being said, this looks funny, informative, and insightful and that is everything we have come to know and love from a Michael Moore documentary. Look for this in theaters on September, 23rd and look for Republicans and other “patriots” to be butt hurt until the recession lets up some more and they can afford an assassination.

I posted the first trailer for this back in late May. I appreciate the fact that they waited for The Hangover to do ridiculous numbers before they decided to give Ed Helms some trailer love. I also appreciate that ~~Robin Thicke’s dad~~ ~~Jason Seaver~~ Alan Thicke is in it. I’m sure it won’t do great numbers, but I’ll go see it and I’ll enjoy it because as I said before, Jeremy Piven is a BAMF. Enjoy…

If you don’t know who these guys are then you obviously don’t have as much free time to surf the net for funny videos as I do. The Derrick Comedy team is the team that gave such web classics as Bro Rape and the fan favorite, NiggerFaggot (apologizing to no one is probably the only route in that case). In any event, these guys are quite funny and this was a huge hit at Sundance (one of the few bandwagons I listen to) so enjoy and of course I’ve posted appetizers below:

It might be because I’m really digging Ellen Page or it might be because I’ve always loved Drew Barrymore’s ~~Tara Reid~~ crazed party girl to successful woman story, but I think this is going to be a Juno-esque indie hit. It’s about a young girl in the boondocks joining a sick roller derby team. I guarantee that after this movie Ellen Page (she’s 22, I checked) will be officially declared a Hollywood hottie (and she can actually act…can Megan Fox do that?). Anyways, enjoy:

Trailer: Michael Moore’s Wall Street

Here is the trailer for Michael Moore’s upcoming documentary Wall Street, giving us that classic Michael Moore spin the current economic situation and the bank bailouts. It’s pretty clever, especially if you were sitting in one of the select theatres where ushers actually walked down the aisles with offering trays. It’s a political doc as always so it’ll have friends and enemies, but all things considered I think it’ll be worth the watch no matter what side of the situation you’re on.

Lesson of the day: It’s better to give than to recieve.
